15th July 2011.

As we did not manage to cover the whole area last week, we decided to go there again after work. After picking up my son and wife, straightaway we went to Precint 2. The sky was getting dark and it started to drizzle. Damn..

Still, we decided to go no matter what.Had no choice but to buy a rainbow coloured umbrella just for the sake of my son...Can't let him get wet in the rain laaa...

I just managed to capture a few pictures as it was quite difficult to concentrate with the rain and my son running here and there carrying the umbrella..hehehe..

Just spent around 40 minutes before leaving. Nevetheless, we decided to pay this place a visit the next day... :)

16th July 2011

It was 8.00am and the alarm was ringing..I decided to ignore it since sleeping seems to be way better thank waking up early to take some photographs of flowers...Then, at around 8.30am, the manual alarm (a.k.a my wife) started to ring non-stop forcing me to wake up...no choice..But, it was a good decision as I could leave to Precint 2 early to avoid the crowd.hehehe. Thank you, Mrs. Viknarajan..

Left the house together with my wife's brothers. My wife and son did not follow as we had some other plans for the afternoon and my wife needs to do some preparation.

Reached the destination within 25 minutes as there was no roadblocks this time. Managed to cover the whole place this time. And while I was busy snapping the pictures near the stage, the prize giving ceremony was going on. Too busy, to notice who was the VIP there...

Only disappointed one one matter...We did not get the time to go there to see the "1Malaysia International Tourism Night Floral Parade 2011". Checkout the news in the Star online: http://thestar.com.my/news/story.aspsec=central&file=/2011/7/15/central/9103003.

Hopefully, it would be there again next year.

!! HIDUP BERSIH 2.0!!

OK,as I said this blog is not about Bersih 2.0 because I could not attend the event as I was on-call during the weekend and actually had some server issue that need to be solved during the evening. Since, I was quite free in the morning, we decided to go to Putrajaya Floria 2011. A journey that normally takes 25 minutes to reach Precint 2, Putrajaya actually took us 1 hour plus due to the unnecessary roadblock set up near the Shell petrol station after the Sg.Ramal Toll.

 This event is quite memorable to me since I first started blogging with this event that was held last year. Check out the posts here : Floria 2010.

Looks like its my blog's 1st year birthday!! Coincidently, this post comes exactly one year after the first post (11th July 2010). Pretty proud of myself..hehehe.

We only managed to go the indoor garden as time was quite short for me...Remember, I am on-call.. hehehe... Got to admit, that the decoration inside were marvelous and we really enjoyed the creativity of the creators. All the photos were taken using Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Lens.

After taking a few snaps inside, decided to call it quits and went to the bazaar. My wife wanted to purchase some Orchids to keep at home and ended up purchasing 4 types of orchids and got one for free..hehehe..

Enjoyable day but need to go another day to cover the outdoor garden.
